A gallery of much of my previous work over the last 5 years. Separated from my main portfolio due to lack of project files, as well as general age. Much of the work lacks quality and documentation but provides a nice timeline of progression as my skills have improved.
I’m hesitant to put so much of my, to be frank, old crappy work up for all to see (especially on my main website) but as stated above, I think it’s important for posterity reasons. It should be a nice demonstration of where I started, and how I’ve improved over the years.
The most noticeable discrepancy between these and my newer projects might be my heavy use of post-processing and photoshop filters. I smeared an ungodly number of filters on many of my early pieces, things like heavy vignettes, chromatic aberration, and a liberal amount of color grading that would drastically alter the tone and feel of the original rendered image. I suspect this is a common beginner’s mistake when first starting, hopefully this diminishes as we progress further in the timeline. I will offer further explanations and details when I can, but due to the absence of the original files, and the passage of time, I am limited to working with final render images/videos, and my hazy memory.
The work you will see is primarily 3D, and like most of my projects, created mainly in Blender.
Enjoy.
