The Butcher
A 3D character I've boringly named, The Butcher. Created for an advanced 3D Modeling and Lighting class in my final year at university. Created primarily in Blender, textured in Substance Painter, quickly rigged using Auto-Rig Pro addon for Blender, and animated with a simple walk cycle.
Butcher 360 turntable render, both in T-pose and animated walk cycle. Full texture and wireframe clay render.
The character was designed to be optimized and usable for rigging, animation, and real-time game engines in mind.
The characters final stats come to:
Polycount of: 10,596 tris
2 Material Slots/Elements used, one for the base character mesh, and one for tertiary details like clothes and weapon
Each material slot using a 2K packed channel format of: Base Color, ORM, and Normal Map.

Below is a quick demonstration video of the Butcher imported into Unreal Engine 5. The rig was matched to the UE Mannequin rig for easy setup, as well as allowing to use any animations supporting the default Mannequin rig, and the custom walk-cycle I created is also used.
